The 2007-2008 Connecticut FTC Kickoff was held on Saturday, September 23rd
from 9:00am - noon at the home of Gus Robotics (FRC 228) - Maloney High School
in Meriden CT. Kathy Kentfield (FTC Affiliate Partner for CT), Mike Betts
(of Bobcat Robotics) and the Art Dutras (of Gus Robotics) did a great
job of preparing and hosting the event.
A practice field was set up, complete with a full set of Quad Quandary field
goals and rings. "Alumni" teams in attendance (Gus Robotics, Rosie
Robotics, Bobcat Robotics, Team Unlimited), brought robots to demonstrate on the
field for spectators and new teams. Lots of design and strategy ideas
shared, a great start to a promising season!
