Our team visited the 2006 AAAI (American Association for Artificial Intelligence) Conference at the World Trade Center in Boston on Wednesday evening, July 19th. Thanks to the kind assistance of co-chair Doctor Paul Rybski (CMU), we attended the 15th Annual AAAI 2006 Robot Competition and Exhibition, and observed demonstrations of many interesting bots, autonomous and remotely controlled. It was especially interesting to compare the approaches to processing visual inputs in the various designs.
