The Sharon Eagle Robotics Unlimited team (FVC 13) has been working to promote
the new FIRST Vex Challenge (now in it's pilot season). We have been at
each Massachusetts FLL tournament in order to discuss the FVC, and let the teams
try out Vex robots configured for 2 on 2 Robotic Soccer. We would like to
acknowledge the participation of the Sharon Eagle Robotics AngelBots team at the
Blackstone tournament.
Eventually, every FLL team will "age out" of competition, and many (most?)
will attend high schools with no FRC program. While it would be great to
form an FRC team at each of these high schools, practical barriers exist.
The FVC program offers the opportunity to keep these teams together!
