While at the FIRST Competition in Atlanta Georgia in 2007, check out . . . Visit Mary Mac's Tea Room for a real Southern family-style meal! We make it a point to visit every year, and we are never disappointed! Visit The Varsity for a great drive-in meal experience that could make you think you are back in the 50s! (Wadya have?) Visit the Georgia Aquarium, said to be the world's largest! Check out the Whale Sharks! But . . . pre-book your tickets on-line, as they are sold for timed entry, and the slots were sold out at Championship time last year! Also, you must go through security, so leave the multi-tools (etc) behind (they don't allow fishing poles either!). Visit The World of Coca-Cola for the tasting room with soda flavors from all over the world. Visit Jake's Ice Cream for the Brown Sugar Vanilla (and all the other great flavors)! Stay at The Sheraton Atlanta Downtown for their wonderful indoor-outdoor pool! |
